LIMITED WARRANTY

Omega II, a division of Metaltech-Omega Inc., hereby guarantees, against any and/or all defects, the quality of the galvanized and polyester-coated steel fence products sold under the Omega Fence System ™ brand name and manufactured by itself.

This warranty covers standard fence components set in normal fencing conditions. From the date of purchase, for fence products galvanized and coated, it extends to twenty (20) years for the panels and the posts, with the exception of the OMEGA10 and OMEGA20 models for which the warranty covers a period of ten (10) years, and five (5) years on gate assemblies. Coverage is offered on the galvanized steel wire incorporated into the fence system and guarantees it against any and all defects or failures resulting from rust or corrosion.

The polyester powder finish is guaranteed against flaking or blistering but does not cover fading or spots.

If final product is galvanized finished, on fence line items and gate frame, the warranty is limited to structural integrity only and not against rust.

This warranty does not cover fence installations exposed to chemicals, harsh marine environments, or in which the wire mesh panel is partially submerged or buried. It also excludes damage resulting from accidents, improper installation or vandalism. When modifications are made to the Omega II fence system, without written approval from Omega II, the warranty does not cover the modified area.

Structural resistance of the Omega fences is foreseen for normal use. Excessive loads caused by accumulations of snow, hail, ice, trees or any other material causing damage to the fence, will not be deemed to constitute a defect of material or manufacture covered under this warranty.

By this warranty, Omega II hereby limits its liability to the prompt replacement of the defective material. The expenses incurred for the removal of the defective product and the installation of its replacement are not covered by this warranty.

In the event of a defect or failure, the original purchaser shall send a written notice of the said defect, as soon as it is discovered, to the vendor from whom the product was purchased, with a copy being forwarded to Omega II. For more information, you may contact us at 1-800-836-6342.

Omega II does not assume responsibility for bodily injury, damage to property or for any other damage directly or indirectly resulting from the use of its products. This warranty shall extend only to the initial purchaser and is non-transferable.
